Responsibilities
Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real‑world mechanical engineering work in manufacturing based on your professional experience
Create realistic situations involving product design, prototyping, testing, and production optimization
Develop scenarios for troubleshooting equipment, analyzing mechanical systems, and implementing design improvements
Review and evaluate AI responses to mechanical engineering queries for accuracy and technical precision
Provide detailed feedback on manufacturing engineering scenarios to improve AI training
Qualifications
4+ years professional experience in a mechanical engineering role in manufacturing
Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities
Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems
Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills
Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz
Requirements
Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule
Expected workload: 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours
Project start date: immediately, lasting for around 6 weeks
Compensation & Contract Terms
Independent contractor engagement through Mercor
Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect
