The Electrical Foreman The Electrical Foreman supervises 5–10 electricians on-site, ensuring installation quality, safety, and schedule performance across large industrial and commercial electrical projects. You’ll act as the bridge between the field and project management while mentoring team members and maintaining compliance with the NEC and company safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day field operations for assigned crews

Plan, assign, and monitor electrical installation work

Read and interpret blueprints and layout diagrams

Manage materials, equipment, and tools efficiently

Conduct daily safety meetings and ORM reviews

Complete project logs, timesheets, and evaluations

Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents

Mentor apprentices and promote a safe, productive work culture

Schedule Monday–Friday, typically 6 AM–6 PM; occasional nights/weekends

Travel 60–75% (nationwide)

Reports To Electrical Superintendent / Project Manager

Requirements

Journeyman Electrician License (any state)

8,000+ verified work hours

3–5 years of leadership experience supervising electrical crews

Strong working knowledge of the NEC

OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
