Overview

The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating all day-to-day communication with customers to ensure timely information flow, including order status, shipment advice, reschedules, and customer reports. Responsibilities

Customer Support: Ensure timely communication with customers; manage order status, shipment advice, reschedules, and customer reports. Production and Shipment Schedule: Optimize production capacity utilization based on delivery dates, order priority, material availability, and production skills; manage the daily shipping schedule and execution. Customer Performance: Measure and report on customer relationship performance, including shipment/delivery performance, cancellations, and invoicing accuracy, to align with quotations. Order Administration: Collaborate with the customer to manage the order administration process from receipt through shipping and invoicing. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain effective lines of communication with customers and provide accurate management information to customers in the required frequency and format. Customer Documents: Manage customer documents as required by the company. Order Book Administration: Administer backlog, cancellations, and reschedules; respond quickly to advise on changes and their impact. Shipping: Provide a daily shipping plan and outlook based on customer deadlines; support the shipping team with timely information, training, and system development as needed. Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational objectives; liaise with peer Production Planners to resolve conflicts between customer accounts. Measurements: Weekly metrics include Order Book Accuracy, Backlog, and Delivery Performance. Monthly metrics include Bookings, Customer Satisfaction Index, and Customer-Specific Metrics. Qualifications / Experience

Degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification from a recognized authority, or additional education. At least two years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Current full passport. Flexibility with working hours and foreign travel; overtime is expected. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. High school. Primary skills / Competences
