Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Account Executive located in Nashville, TN. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing client accounts, creating and executing PR strategies, maintaining media relationships, and overseeing day-to-day account operations. This role demands strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities Client & Account Management
Act as the day-to-day liaison for client communications
Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, transparency, and results
Proactively manage client expectations and identify opportunities for account growth
Strategic Planning & Campaign Execution
Develop, implement, and optimize public relations and integrated marketing strategies
Lead cross-channel campaign planning aligned with client goals, budgets, and KPIs
Monitor and report campaign performance, offering data-driven insights and recommendations
Media & Influencer Relations
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, producers, and digital influencers
Draft and distribute press materials, pitches, and media alerts to secure high-value coverage
Manage influencer partnerships, ensuring contract compliance and ROI-oriented results
Team Leadership & Internal Collaboration
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all deliverables through thoughtful delegation and oversight
Lead internal meetings and encourage a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture
Content Development & Quality Assurance
Create and edit press releases, backgrounders, media kits, newsletters, and thought leadership content
Ensure consistency, brand alignment, and editorial accuracy across all external communications
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging digital platforms to support innovative storytelling
Event & Production Support
Support the planning and execution of press events, influencer activations, and media productions
Coordinate with vendors and partners, providing on-site support as needed
Operations & Reporting
Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines
Track budgets, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with agency and client protocols
Utilize platforms such as Google Workspace, Muck Rack, and Upfluence for reporting, invoicing, and media tracking
Business Development
Identify and support new business opportunities aligned with agency growth goals
Contribute to proposal development, pitches, and the onboarding of new clients
Performance Expectations
Demonstrate responsiveness and professionalism in all client communications (within one business day)
Deliver high-quality, error-free written materials that meet client and agency standards
Meet or exceed campaign KPIs, including media placements, engagement, and ROI
Maintain accountability for workload, project timelines, and deliverables
Actively contribute to agency culture through leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in public relations, agency or in‑house
Strong understanding of the media landscape and PR best practices
Proven track record of securing earned media across print, digital, and broadcast
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and poise
