Subject to the medical protocols established by the Association and the Chief Medical Officer of Concentra, and in cooperation with other physicians assigned to a clinic or "Center", if any, the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner shall provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within the occupational health program. Clinic location - Stockton East / Airport, CA. Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm. Responsibilities: Examine patients, compile patient medical data, and interpret examination results. Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests. Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care. Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections. Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance. Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy, timely documentation, and a compassionate patient experience. Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing needs in a busy environment. Seek opportunities for clinical training and self-development to maintain high-quality care. Communicate effectively with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers, upholding Orange Book values. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university. Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction. Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program. Board Certification. Occupational Medicine experience preferred but training available for qualified candidates. FMCSA NRCME certification and DEA registration required prior to start date. Experience and Skills: At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings. Procedural proficiency preferred (e.g., suturing, foreign body removal). Strong service mentality, attention to detail, sense of urgency, initiative, and flexibility. Excellent decision-making, communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information. Competitive salary range: $150,000 - $172,000 annually, based on experience and location.
