The Surgery Nurse provides, coordinates, and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem‑solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal and professional development, and conducting themselves professionally. Must float to OPSC Wymark as needed.

Call required on nights, weekends, and holidays with a maximum 30‑minute response time.

Job Requirements Minimum

Current California RN license

One (1) year of surgery RN experience in an acute care setting

Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

Ability to circulate and scrub cases

Preferred

Two (2) years of surgery RN experience in an acute care setting

Pay Range: $67.57 - $82.06 /hour
