Manufacturing Manager – Cleveland, OH
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead day‑to‑day production operations at our Cleveland, OH facility. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals, with a leadership focus on teams of Production Supervisors and Operators.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production, efficiency, and delivery targets.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, ISO).
Monitor and report plant KPIs; identify and resolve performance gaps.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to optimize equipment reliability and uptime.
Lead, coach, and mentor Production Supervisors and hourly employees to build a high‑performance team.
Promote accountability, teamwork, and engagement across all shifts.
Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate on projects to improve throughput, scrap reduction, and cost savings.
Support new product introductions and process validation activities.
Enforce a strong safety culture and rigorously investigate production or quality issues.
Partner with the Quality team to maintain product and process standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, preferably in plastics, packaging, or high‑speed manufacturing.
Strong background in Lean/CI, production planning, and process optimization.
Experience leading in a 24/5 or 24/7 environment.
ERP system proficiency, IQMS experience a plus.
Proven leadership and people‑development skills; strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration across all organizational levels.
