Position Overview Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a highly motivated Flight Test Systems Integration Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT). This role focuses on integrating systems for flight test and deployed system development, supporting a 21st Century Security® vision.

Responsibilities

Integrate system architecture, CONOPS, system-level design, and requirements across various subsystems.

Coordinate system analysis, flight sciences, and interface definition.

Participate in studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities to support flight tests and deployed system development.

Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning, and implementation for an integrated system solution.

Develop plans to on‑ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission.

Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews.

Participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards.

Quarterly travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in Systems Engineering.

Experience in Electrical Engineering.

Demonstrated capability in requirements and verification, including requirement engineering, requirements management, and verification.

Active security clearance (Secret or Top‑Secret).

Experience leading teams in generation of technical data products.

Highly effective communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements.

Experience integrating across functional organizations.

Desired Skills

MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project.

Experience with DOORS or DOORS Next.

Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or submarine exposure is highly desired.

Self‑starter, able to complete work without appreciable direction.

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret.

Pay and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position in most U.S. states is $85,500 – $150,765. For all other states, the salary will reflect the final work location. Pay is commensurate with scope, responsibilities, and market conditions.
