About the Role GHT seeks a motivated mechanical design engineer with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution + 6+ years of HVAC design experience in commercial and institutional interiors. Proficiency in HVAC design, including load calculations, equipment sizing, control systems, and site surveys. Strong knowledge of regional building, energy, and green codes. Ability to work independently and in teams, with good organizational skills. Management skills to coordinate and oversee projects and teams across disciplines. Ability to delegate tasks, manage schedules, and budgets. Commitment to quality, client satisfaction, and responsiveness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with AutoCAD (latest versions); familiarity with Revit preferred. Preferred: P.E. license, LEED accreditation. Willingness to travel to job sites, including carrying equipment and working in various environments.
