Urgent Care/Overnight Veterinarian

Located in beautiful Kailua on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, Feather and Fur Animal Hospital is seeking an urgent care/emergency veterinarian for swing shifts ideally with one overnight shift. We are an AAHA-accredited, 24-hour, full-service hospital that emphasizes high quality veterinary medicine and excellent customer service. Individuals with a willingness to see exotics (avian and pocket pets) are necessary. We are willing to train people on avian and exotics medicine so experience is not required. We have digital x-ray, in-house Idexx laboratory equipment (including blood gases coags, and ionized calcium), ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, two large Snyder CCUs and 6 more smaller oxygen/warming units, CO2 laser, and cold therapy laser. In 2022 we moved into a 13,000 SF facility with 10 exam rooms, 2 surgery suites, separate canine and feline hospital wards, a CCU ward, separate hospital and outpatient treatment areas, a mini dog park and more. We work closely with a board certified radiologist that visits us twice a week and a board certified surgeon that visits roughly every 2 weeks. We are looking for veterinarians with a passion for excellent medicine and excellent customer service. We need energetic, compassionate people that work well in a team environment and a willingness work collaboratively on our cases. We require a minimum of 2 years experience or an internship for the urgent care/overnight position. We have a great clientele that often is able to pursue the best care possible for their family members.
