About the Role As a CBRE Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Associate Real Estate Manager or higher staff in managing all aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial or retail properties, including marketing, operations, and financial activities. This position is part of the Property Management function, responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
What You’ll Do
Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly and that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations.
Assist in performing periodic property inspections and recommend alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as necessary.
Review and recommend vendor invoice approvals to Associate or higher staff for accurate payment in compliance with the management agreement, CBRE policies, and the PM approval authorization matrix.
Assign Purchase Orders according to CBRE Policies and the PM approval matrix.
Assist with accurate tenant billing preparation.
Coordinate tenant move‑ins, move‑outs, and “walk‑throughs” with tenants and the tenant improvement department.
Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports.
Collect and confirm preliminary data for budget line items or enter budget data into reports.
Generate preliminary data for accounts receivable aging reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience.
Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Ensure own work quality and meet deadlines using standardized procedures.
Communicate straightforwardly, ask questions, and confirm understanding.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
