Job Purpose:
The role of a Registered Nurse is to comply with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients. The qualified RN will provide quality care to our patients on an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit. In this fast‑paced environment, you will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care as well as communicate with patients, families, and other health team members effectively. Implementing core measures as indicated. Applicants should possess excellent communication, assessment, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize as well as a commitment to work with a culturally diverse population.
Responsibilities
Provide quality care to patients on an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit.
Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and health team members.
Implement core measures as indicated.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current MA RN licensure.
BSN preferred.
Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required.
1 year telemetry experience preferred.
Proficiency in telemetry and ability to interpret telemetry strips by the end of orientation.
