Position Summary A blend of direct patient care and participation as part of a multidisciplinary provider team in the USC Brain Health Network. The role contributes to research and teaching activities within the department, focusing on brain health and language recovery.
Duties
Provide direct patient care and counseling services.
Consult on patients referred to the USC Brain Health Network, reviewing clinical assessment data, making recommendations regarding patient care and care planning.
Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians and Behavioral Neurologists to ensure coordinated care.
Conduct innovative neuropsychology research, with emphasis on brain health and language recovery, utilizing neuroimaging tools and AI methodologies.
Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to foster a multidisciplinary research approach.
Required Education and Experience
Ph.D. in Neuropsychology or related field.
Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous university-level teaching experience.
Experience securing research grants.
Familiarity with interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Strong research background focused on brain health and language recovery.
Proficiency in neuroimaging techniques.
Track record of peer‑reviewed publications.
Effective communication and teaching skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented academic environment.
