Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian

Vicki Akre UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Cave Creek, Arizona area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts provide care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment. Note:
This role focuses on urgent care only; wellness visits are not included. Responsibilities
Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership Grow relationships within the practice and the Phoenix community Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program) Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state) Benefits
