We are currently seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support and service water and wastewater treatment plants. This is a dynamic, field-based role that involves troubleshooting, testing, and repairing technical equipment in real-world environments. What We Provide
Company vehicle Fuel card Laptop and digital meter Support from a highly skilled in-house repair / rebuild team A hybrid schedule (home-based when not dispatched to service sites) Key Responsibilities
Perform field service, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of water / wastewater systems Diagnose and repair PLCs, VFDs, electrical control panels, wiring, pumps, and motors Provide prompt and professional customer support during site visits Manage workflow according to project schedules Generate timely and accurate service reports and documentation Follow company procedures, safety protocols, and service standards Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams Maintain technical knowledge of evolving equipment, tools, and technologies Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant hands-on experience Proficiency with PLC systems, VFDs, electrical troubleshooting, wiring, pumps, and motor systems Ability to test, repair, and service complex technical equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Organized and detail-oriented, with a willingness to continually learn Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (within 2-hour radius of Wixom) Preferred Qualifications
Water / Wastewater treatment plant experience (highly preferred) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field Why This Role?
