Position: Embedded Software Engineer, Space Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement embedded software for space systems, including but not limited to, satellites, launch vehicles, and ground stations.
Utilize your expertise in RF, FDIR, Python, TROS, and more, to develop high-quality, efficient, and robust software.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Perform software testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the software.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help improve the team's overall performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the field of embedded software engineering, space technology, defense, and aerospace industries.
Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the quality of the software.
Document all phases of the software development process, ensuring that all software designs, codes, and processes are accurately recorded for future reference.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the space, defense, or aerospace industries.
Proficiency in RF, FDIR, Python, TROS, or equivalent technologies.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering best practices.
Proven experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded software systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve complex technical challenges.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements and trends in the field of embedded software engineering, space technology, defense, and aerospace industries.
A passion for space exploration and a desire to contribute to the future of space travel and defense.
