Bessemer Trust is hiring a
Investor Relations Analyst
to join its Alternative Investments group within the Alternative Investor Relations (IR) team. The analyst will support the day-to-day operations of the firm’s Alternative Investments Fund of Funds business. The Alternative Investments group consists of 27 dedicated team members across five teams – Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Assets, Advisory, and IR. The group manages 18 active funds totaling approximately $6.0 billion under management, encompassing more than 300 underlying investment funds and over 9 000 client investments. Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for Client Advisors and investors regarding alternative investment fund inquiries. Prepare and process documentation for marketing, fundraising, subscription, capital calls, transfers, distributions, and fund redemptions for both investment managers and investors. Support communication of alternative investment summaries, fund performance, and marketing materials to clients. Coordinate with underlying managers and internal Tax and Finance teams to distribute investor information such as K‑1s and financial statements. Maintain client records in compliance with policy and procedures. Assist with ongoing projects and special initiatives related to Alternative Investments. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required). 1‑4 years of relevant experience. Fundamental knowledge of financial concepts and financial markets; experience with alternative investments is a plus. Strong independent work ethic and ability to collaborate within a team. Proactive problem‑solving attitude and excellent prioritization skills. High attention to detail. Outstanding written and oral communication abilities. Ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel. The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$100,000. In addition, the analyst may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
