Overview Intuit is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as dedicated TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts. This seasonal role combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs and empower them to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.'

About The Role You will work on‑site from a TurboTax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually. You will use your tax knowledge to provide full‑service tax return preparation, advice, calculations, and software support. Your ability to understand each customer’s situation and connect on a personal level is critical. You will handle simple W‑2 filings, life‑event scenarios, and complex taxes such as business income, amendments, or investments. In addition, you will grow TurboTax’s client base locally, establish long‑term relationships, and drive customer loyalty. This role is non‑exempt and requires a seasonal on‑site presence in the United States.

What You’ll Do

Provide Tax Expertise – give hands‑on advice and complete preparation services, handling simple to complex tax situations (personal and business income, deductions, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.

Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – embody a community ambassador mindset to cultivate a robust customer base. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, engage prospects, nurture leads, convert them into long‑term clients, and organize local events for engagement.

Educate and Communicate Confidently – represent TurboTax in the local community, host learning events, participate in local marketing, and demystify taxes to make them accessible.

Build Relationships – connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns, and establish long‑term trust that turns one‑time transactions into loyal relationships.

Deliver a Best‑in‑Class Customer Experience – create an exceptional experience, maintain professionalism, and genuinely help clients achieve their financial goals (retirement, college funds, weddings, vacations). Interact with customers both in‑person and via video tools, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax‑related challenges.

Who You Are

Possess active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.

Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional software.

Familiarity with Circular 230.

Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.

Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content in accordance with Intuit’s policies.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.

Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Must reside within the United States.

Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Compensation Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with pay‑for‑performance rewards. Base pay ranges vary by region (USD).
