Heartland Veterinary Partners is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join the full‑service animal hospital located in Clarks Grove, MN. This position offers a competitive salary range of
USD $100,000 - $120,000 per year
and a $30,000 sign‑on bonus.
Practice Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic is a fully equipped animal hospital providing medical, surgical, diagnostic, and dental care for dogs, cats, and horses. The clinic is open six days a week and offers minor surgery, foreign‑body removal, equine dentistry, and more.
Location Clarks Grove is a small‑town community with scenic parks and lakes, just a short drive from Albert Lea.
Position Purpose Associate Veterinarian – Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic
Essential Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results.
Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
Provide counsel on pet end‑of‑life care.
Maintain patient medical records.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, statutes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
State licensure in good standing.
Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD credentials.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and courteous presentation to staff and clients.
Physical capability to lift patients or carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift >25 pounds with assistance.
