Role Overview The Account Executive role is a high‑velocity sales position responsible for the full consultative sales cycle for Rippling’s Global product. You will engage with prospects, help them understand product solutions, close revenue, and partner with the Account Management team to ensure a seamless transition.
The role goes beyond sales, advising customers on product configurations, compliance and workflow improvements.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to understand unique challenges and guide them through product configurations and decision‑making processes aligned with business objectives
Manage pipeline in Salesforce to ensure accurate revenue forecasting both monthly and quarterly
Close business and consistently achieve quota attainment
Become a product expert across Rippling’s entire platform and understand the competitor landscape to deliver targeted demos
Collaborate with product, solutions engineering, sales development, and compliance teams to influence product development
Manage end‑to‑end client engagement from initial consultation through implementation and ongoing relationship management with the AM team to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
Minimum 1+ year of full‑cycle closing experience (excluding SDR/BDR or pipeline generation roles), in B2B SaaS markets
Experience carrying $600 k+ annual quota
Proven track record of success (top 10 % of sales org)
Previous experience selling HRIS/HCM software or security‑related products
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
BA/BS degree
Compensation & Benefits This role offers a competitive On‑Target Earnings package (base salary + sales commission) with a 50/50 commission split for base/variable pay. Salary for US‑based employees ranges: $160,000 – $160,000 (San Francisco Office). Benefits and equity are included.
