Director of Aviation Maintenance at Core Group Resources We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Aviation Maintenance to lead and oversee all aviation maintenance operations. In this senior leadership role, you will ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of the organization’s fleet of aircraft. You will manage a team of skilled technicians and pilots, develop maintenance strategies, and implement best practices to optimize aircraft performance and operational efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned aviation professional to play a critical role in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.

Develop and manage maintenance schedules to guarantee timely inspections, repairs, and aircraft readiness.

Lead, mentor, and support a team of aviation maintenance technicians and helicopter pilots.

Manage inventory, procurement, and budgeting for maintenance supplies and equipment.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of maintenance practices to identify and implement improvements.

Collaborate with executive leadership, regulatory agencies, and other departments such as safety and operations.

Ensure all aircraft maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Lead efforts in safety management systems and quality assurance programs to uphold organizational standards.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, management, or a related field.

Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Technical expertise in aviation maintenance procedures, FAA regulations, and safety protocols.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly.

Preferred Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or a related field.

Experience with safety management systems and quality assurance programs.

Familiarity with aviation maintenance software and tracking systems.
