Tool and Parts Attendant
Location: FRCASE NAS North Island/Naval Base Coronado, CA
Overview TOOLS AND PARTS ATTENDANT, BLS 53-7065, SCA 21210
Responsibilities
Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment such as measuring devices.
Maintain proper storage layout, locator systems, and material handling procedures.
Operate a government general‑purpose vehicle as required.
Use basic computer skills to record and track inventory.
Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of experience with tools and parts and specific knowledge of a wide range of tools and equipment associated with tracked and wheeled vehicle maintenance.
Basic knowledge of generally accepted warehousing concepts.
Valid and current state driver’s license.
Ability or willingness to obtain any required licenses or certifications.
Basic computer skills.
Education High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Compensation $25.49 per hour
Other Compensation Employees will receive a health and welfare fringe benefit of $7.75 for every hour paid up to 80 hours per pay period.
