J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management’s high‑impact Internal Communications team serves as a strategic partner helping transform complex strategies and business priorities into clear, actionable messages and campaigns that empower and inspire employees.

As a Executive Director – Communications Director within Asset & Wealth Management, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, including Asset & Wealth Management Operating Committee members, and key internal stakeholders. You will provide editorial oversight, ensuring communications are compelling, accurate and aligned with the firm’s brand and strategic objectives, amplifying the expertise and achievements of our teams and ensuring every employee understands the value of their contributions and the impact of our businesses, products and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders, product teams and colleagues to deliver high‑quality content, including announcements, executive messaging and campaign materials.

Develop and execute strategic internal communications plans that support business priorities and lead employee engagement.

Ensure all communications are meticulously crafted and aligned with the firm’s brand and editorial standards.

Identify opportunities to amplify initiatives and extend the reach of key messages through multiple channels.

Maintain a strong pulse on business developments, market trends and employee sentiment to inform communications strategy.

Champion the use of emerging technologies and AI to enhance communications and deliver innovative solutions.

Leverage analytics and data‑driven insights to measure impact and refine strategies, with a focus on increasing readership and communication open rates.

Collaborate with media relations, marketing, social and events teams to ensure integrated, surround‑sound communications.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistent messaging.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging new ideas and best practices.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

10+ years of editorial and communications experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.

Exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for precision and quality.

Strong writing and editorial skills, with a focus on producing clear, concise and engaging content.

Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.

Strategic thinker with the ability to connect ideas across the business.

Proven experience developing and executing internal communications strategies in a large organization.

Highly organized and proactive, with strong planning and program management skills.

Experience leveraging analytics to inform communications decisions and measure impact.

Creative mindset and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Self‑motivated and passionate about employee engagement and storytelling.
