Staffing Consultant
As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This is a full‑cycle recruiting role. From sourcing to placement, you will run the entire recruiting process and engage in conversations with job seekers via phone, email, or in‑person. You will coach candidates through resume editing, interview preparation, post‑interview feedback, and acceptance of new positions. You will also collaborate with your team to discuss open positions, post job adverts, and utilize online sourcing tools.
Base Pay Range:
$45,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Identify prospective candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
Interview prospective candidates.
Prep candidates for client interviews by reviewing resumes, discussing client needs, and conducting mock interviews.
Extend job offers and manage the offer process for candidates.
Reach out to candidates on assignment to ensure they have everything necessary.
Proactively cold‑call to identify prospective candidates, building a strong pipeline from the outset.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to listen, understand, explain, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
A passion for working with people.
A tenacious self‑motivation and persistence, making the 100th call and beyond.
Leadership skills and a competitive drive: a history of competing in sports, academia, or goal‑oriented arenas.
Confidently exercise discretion and independent judgment about business and people needs.
An incessant drive to meet goals and metrics with a get‑up‑and‑go attitude.
