We are looking for an attorney with a minimum of 2 years representing clients on commercial real estate matters in Maryland. A typical day for this position is a mix of advising clients on acquisitions and sales, leasing, mixed use development, zoning and land use, financing, landlord tenant matters, environmental regulation, government approvals, and more. Strong writing and communication skills are necessary for this position. While this position will work under the supervision of the real estate department chair and other more experienced members of the team, this position may include significant client interaction and representation opportunities which are ideal for helping a lawyer develop their practice. The expectation for the successful lawyer filling this position is that, over time, the individual will handle matters with increasing complexity with minimal supervision, while still maintaining the support of the firm’s collaborative environment. Team Responsibilities

Drafting contracts, including leases and purchase sale agreements Negotiating the details of transactions Conducting due diligence reviews Working collaboratively with other departments within the firm Providing strategic legal advice Requirements

Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Maryland. Minimum of 2 years of experience handling commercial real estate matters for clients. Our team has a book of existing clients, however candidates who are eager to pursue business development opportunities, with the support of a robust administrative team, are a plus.
