Sr. Java/Springboot/OAuth 2.0/SAML2 Developer Central Point Partners is currently interviewing candidates in the Columbus, OH area for a large client. This is a Contract to Hire position only for GC’s and USC’s. The role is Hybrid (4 days onsite) and requires candidates to be local to Columbus, OH.

Must‑have skills:

Solid OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0 experience; Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and micro‑services. Apigee is a nice‑to‑have but secondary. OAuth 2.0 is the top priority.

Job Summary:

Senior‑level Java developer delivering Java‑based REST API micro‑services in alignment with enterprise architecture.

Deliver complex, high‑quality software in waterfall or agile environments.

Facilitate teamwork and ensure value to stakeholders.

Understand business needs and communicate clearly with business and technology stakeholders.

Lead technical teams and deliverables on projects.

Integrate Spring Boot services with IDP using OpenID Connect.

Key Duties:

Initiate system analysis, design, and development based on user needs.

Provide troubleshooting support for hardware and software issues.

Stay current with latest technology trends relevant to the client.

Identify training needs and train less experienced staff.

Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Primary Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.

5+ years of experience delivering business and technical solutions using OAuth 2.0, Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Kafka, and JSON.

Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, container‑based applications, and cloud deployment architectures.

Experience with microservices, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes), and API design.

Strong knowledge of JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SAML 2.0 authentication/authorization flows.

Experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL, DB2) and stored procedures.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Motivation, organizational, analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.

Comfort handling multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.

Experience working on cross‑departmental initiatives.

Agile methodology experience.

Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships with leadership and staff.

Experience in Fraud Technology.

Hands‑on software development with Java and expertise in Object‑Oriented Design.

Experience building and maintaining code repositories and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with GCP infrastructure and services (Cloud Run, Terraform, Big Query).
