Overview The Auth & Policy Platform team is responsible for managing identity, access, and metadata for Company Technology's developer platform. The team’s mission is to enable secure, self-service updates on the platform while maintaining strict security and policy compliance. As a Sr. Python Developer, you’ll contribute by enhancing the developer directory, adding features to the service registry, and creating new client libraries, all within a collaborative, high-impact team environment.
Responsibilities
Collaborate on platform updates, developing essential services and features for the developer ecosystem.
Provide solutions for issues and new features across team-owned services.
Support self-service platform enhancements that meet security standards.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Python web development
experience, utilizing frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Strong background with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
3+ years of experience
managing applications in cloud environments like AWS, using tools such as Terraform or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code principles, especially in cloud-hosted settings.
Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.
Experience creating and maintaining APIs using GraphQL.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with front-end development, particularly React.
Background in integrating applications with LDAP using Python.
Confidence presenting technical demos to engineering audiences.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
