Job Summary
Support a technology-related, strategic project for a state government agency focused on leveraging NC HealthConnex to improve quality and population health outcomes.
Coordinate with internal business and clinical teams to implement operational tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
Query, profile, and analyze large healthcare datasets (using SQL and/or SAS) to improve data quality and usability.
Gather and synthesize information and feedback from internal and external stakeholders (including Health Plans and providers) to inform organizational decision-making.
Communicate complex technical and data concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Contribute to data policy, healthcare data ecosystem, health information technology, and quality improvement initiatives.
Adapt to shifting priorities and support multiple stakeholder needs in a hybrid work environment.
Full-time contract with health insurance benefits; requires U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.
Minimum experience: 3 years in healthcare data policy, stakeholder communication, and data querying; 2 years in Medicaid regulations, population health models, clinical workflows, and digital quality measurement.
