Overview
RADIAS Health is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for our ReEntry House Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) program. The role oversees 16 adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Base Pay Range
$26.00/yr - $28.00/yr Pay Rate
$26.09 per hour Available Shifts (ReEntry House IRTS Minneapolis)
Part‑time: Friday and Saturday 4 pm – 12 am, 16 hours per week Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direct services to residents. Ensure safety of the facility and general supervision of residents. Complete all paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner. Co‑facilitate or facilitate psychoeducational groups or other programming at the facility. Administer medications under the supervision of the facility’s nurse upon successful completion of required medication test. Conduct monthly house meetings for residents in collaboration with Certified Peer Specialist. Assist Mental Health Therapists in developing treatment plans. Assist in the orientation of new admissions to residential care. Teach and develop independent living skills (relaxation, conversation skills, housekeeping, budgeting, etc.). Identify individuals prone to behavior emergencies and assist the therapist in developing additional programming appropriate for their needs. Help de‑escalate behavior emergencies and develop appropriate programming for clients. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health sciences or related field plus 2,000 hours of work experience providing services to individuals diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Must have a car, auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license. Alternatively, no college degree and 4,000 hours of supervised work experience in providing services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders, plus a car, auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
