Role Overview Our customer needs a Technical PM located in Roanoke, IN, onsite 5 days per week for a 1‑year contract. This team is deploying AI‑based camera systems across multiple manufacturing sites to detect defects in real‑time, reduce warranty costs, and prevent costly plant shutdowns, supporting the goal of producing high‑quality vehicles with zero defects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on‑site execution of AI camera installation (approx. 200 cameras per site).

Coordinate with hardware delivery schedules and installation teams.

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

Serve as the main liaison between site teams and the central manager in Austin.

Support onboarding of Software Engineers in early 2026.

Ensure smooth deployment of software and hardware solutions.

Maintain documentation and provide regular status updates.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in technical project management.

Experience in computer science, engineering, or a similar technical field.

Experience transitioning from technical roles (e.g., coding) to functional PM roles.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Manufacturing & Plant Experience

Familiarity with hardware/software deployment projects.

PMP or other formal PM certifications are beneficial.

At least 2 years of true PM experience, preferably from a more technical background.

Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment and managing personas typical to that context.

Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $58.00 per hour.
