Overview
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is a revenue-generating sales position working with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships. The ASM acts as a liaison between the dealers and Stellantis to assist in all areas of retail development, including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring dealer orders meet market demand, and managing monthly vehicle scheduling to maximize production capability within the area.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and providing consultation on improvement opportunities, conducting financial statement analysis, consulting dealers on opportunities to improve retail operations, ensuring advertising and marketing initiatives align with corporate message and branding, maintaining sales satisfaction at all dealerships, and motivating and leading independent entrepreneurs to higher performance while meeting internal goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of sales or marketing experience
Lives in or near Boston, MA or willing to relocate
Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a new car automotive dealership environment
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Skill at building positive working relationships
Entrepreneurial individual with leadership and achievement history
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals
Compensation Salary: $98,600 to $147,800, depending on experience and location of the position.
