Netapp/Server Ops Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer‑oriented engineer to ensure high availability, performance, and security of storage and server environments across on‑premises and cloud platforms.
Primary Duties Include:
Design, deploy, and manage NetApp storage systems and server infrastructure.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage and server performance and reliability.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
Collaborate with network, server, and application teams to integrate storage and compute resources.
Automate tasks and workflows using scripts or configuration management tools.
Maintain system documentation, generate reports, and support audits or compliance initiatives.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers on best practices and technical solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
5‑8 years of relevant experience.
Strong ability to work independently, multi‑task, and communicate effectively.
US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
Proficient knowledge of storage protocols (SAN, NAS, NFS, CIFS) and server administration (Linux and Windows).
Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and backup/recovery solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
