The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in Accounting with a primary focus on Taxation. The appointment—at the rank of Professor of Practice or Lecturer—may be for one, two, or three years, beginning July 1, 2026. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are competitive with other major research institutions and subject to final budgetary approval.

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Taxation, including federal taxation of pass-through entities (partnerships and S corporations) and individual taxation. Make complex tax concepts accessible and design engaging, applied assignments. Deliver rigorous courses often with an experiential learning focus. Stay active in the field and contribute to service within the school and university. Qualifications
Deep practical expertise in taxation, including the federal taxation of pass-through entities, individual taxation, and tax research. Experience designing engaging, applied assignments in a tax education context. Ability to make complex tax concepts accessible to students. Knowledge and willingness to teach courses in financial or managerial accounting, as needed. Seniority level
