Job Summary:

We’re seeking a strategic and results‑oriented Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to support leaders in our North American Specialty business functions. As a trusted advisor and change leader, you will shape talent strategies, mentor HRBPs, and drive workforce planning, talent development, and organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Identify pressing talent opportunities and workforce challenges, ensuring alignment with business strategy.

Shape HR priorities based on internal trends and functional needs and deliver high‑impact solutions.

Drive execution of enterprise‑wide and function‑specific HR initiatives.

Partner with Senior Director and Talent Acquisition to build a talent acquisition function and lead associated change management.

Build and manage robust hiring pipelines and deliver notable onboarding.

Monitor external workforce and talent trends, providing actionable recommendations.

Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters as escalation point.

Collaborate on change management strategies related to redesigns, process transformations, or new technology adoption.

Facilitate cultural integration and inclusive practices within Specialty functions.

Support employee lifecycle moments—onboarding, career growth, offboarding—with consistency.

Retain critical talent by identifying high‑value employees and recommending tailored development.

Support equitable and competitive compensation strategies in partnership with Compensation.

Identify high‑potential employees for leadership succession planning.

Coach leaders on career development practices.

Contribute to training program design and facilitation.

Oversee performance management systems for timely feedback.

Promote transparency and open dialogue by communicating clearly with employees.

Steward HR policies and continuous improvement, gathering feedback and refining programs.

Act as strategic advisor to corporate leaders on talent risks and business decisions.

Promote collaboration within HR and stakeholder teams.

Challenge assumptions and guide leaders on talent implications.

Ad hoc priorities with agility to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.

8+ years of progressive HR experience supporting geographically distributed employees.

3+ years supporting insurance business functions strongly desired.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.

Proven ability to lead workforce planning and succession planning processes.

Experience facilitating talent management cycles (talent reviews, performance calibration).

Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and influencing skills.

Experience managing complex employee relations cases and driving change.

Advanced problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities.

Comfort in dynamic, high‑growth, or matrixed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, or other advanced HR certification.

Background in financial services or insurance industry.

Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $114,495 – $161,640. Placement within the range will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
