Job Summary As an Obstetric Surgical Technologist, you’ll be a valued member of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care. You will prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, maintain a sterile field, and provide compassionate patient‑centered care.
Responsibilities
Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
Providing instruments and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient‑centered care and a seamless surgical experience
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Experience as a surgical technologist, preferably in obstetrics
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
