Job Summary: The computed tomography (CT) technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED; must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program.

Licenses & Certifications: Certified Medical Radiologic Tech by the Texas Medical Board (TMB); Basic Life Support from a hospital‑based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program; Certified Computed Tomography Tech by the ARRT. Work Experience: Two (2) years experience in radiological imaging preferred. Communication Skills: Above average verbal (heavy public contact), writing/correspondence. Proficiencies: PC, MS Word, MS Excel. Job Attributes: Knowledge/skills/abilities – analytical, medical terms. Work Schedule: Weekends, flexible, on call. Equipment Operated: CT scanner, contrast injector, EMR, iStat/Glucometer and other related clinical equipment.
