Location: Philadelphia, PA – Remote or Hybrid (Local candidates only)
Experience: 10–12 years in Informatica PowerCenter.
Job Overview: Support the migration of Informatica PowerCenter 8.1.1 to the IDMC cloud solution.
Responsibilities:
Backup the Informatica version 8.1.1 Repository.
Set up test server and use the image production server to establish a test environment.
Create Informatica mappings on the cloud platform.
Cleanup tasks on the IDMC server.
Incorporate all current sequence IDs from Production into the Test Repository.
Create metadata on the IDMC server.
Verify the migrated repository.
Required Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter upgrade and migration.
Experience installing multiple versions of Informatica PowerCenter software.
Ability to specify hardware requirements.
Experience developing end-to-end ETL processes in Informatica.
Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, mappings, and workflows.
Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
Knowledge of SQL (standard).
Ability to provide training to Informatica PowerCenter administrators/developers.
Highly Desired/Preferred Skills:
Experience with older versions of Informatica PowerCenter such as 8.1.1.
Informatica Certified Professional.
Experience with performance tuning.
