Job Title: RM- Database Operations Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Houston, 60% Onsite
Required Experience & Skills
Oracle Exadata – 5+ years
MSSQL Servers – 5+ years
AWS Database Services (including DMS) – 5+ years

Ideal Candidate Profile An experienced Database Operations Engineer with a minimum of 5 years supporting large, enterprise-level database systems. Must be a US Citizen and local to Houston to support the 60% onsite requirement. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Oracle Exadata, MSSQL, and AWS Database Services, focusing on maintaining optimal performance, integrity, and security.
Summary of Job Description This role is responsible for administration of enterprise database systems and to assure that application databases perform optimally according to the service level objectives, verifying the integrity and availability of all system resources. The role performs database configuration, migration, upgrade, monitoring, query tuning, security compliance, troubleshooting, backup and recovery. The candidate must keep current and future business objectives in mind; they are expected to bring design and maintain state-of-the-art database environments, especially in the following database technologies: Oracle Exadata, MSSQL Servers, AWS Database Services, Snowflake, and Cassandra.
Job Responsibilities
Administer and maintain enterprise database systems to assure optimal application performance and integrity.
Execute core database operations including configuration, migration, upgrade, monitoring, and security compliance.
Perform advanced query tuning, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery for high-availability environments.
Maintain and design state-of-the-art database environments utilizing technologies such as Oracle Exadata, MSSQL Servers, AWS Database Services, Snowflake, and Cassandra.
Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
