Security Officer - Hospital Patrols
in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. The role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible, and delivering exceptional customer service through strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
Use the proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to maintain a visible presence.
Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with client and Allied Universal protocols.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security‑related questions and provide directions or assistance as needed within the healthcare location.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement during incidents or emergencies, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Participate in ongoing training and site‑specific drills to remain prepared for emergency response and evolving client needs.
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
