Our customer is looking for a Break/Fix Technician who will work in a manufacturing/factory environment to troubleshoot hardware for end users. Successful candidates will be expected to follow documented processes, perform software and hardware break/fix, including disconnecting computing equipment and networking equipment during factory changes. Candidates will help customers via phone, in person, and remotely. Occasional travel to different local sites (mileage is reimbursed; reliable means of transportation is required). This position may involve a lot of walking in factory and flight‑line areas. The role is part of a team supporting the customer 24x7 with multiple shifts, responding to tasks associated with SLA/SLO agreements.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades for client hardware and software.

Provide installation, moves, additions, changes, and dispose activities upon request.

Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and associated repairs of failed client hardware and software.

Perform thorough documentation of all service activities.

Meet all success‑measuring benchmarks (customer service, SLO/SLA, etc.).

Qualifications

A+ Certification required (or equivalent 2 years of full‑time hardware maintenance experience).

Net+ Certification recommended.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing basic networking issues.

Good customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time to complete tasks.

Valid driver’s license with reliable personal transportation.

Advanced hands‑on experience troubleshooting & repairing client hardware.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and work experience.

Some shifts may require a weekend day.

Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Pass security and drug testing.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 – $20.50/hr.
