Position Overview Join us in our fast‑paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense’s constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space‑based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Security Specialist to support SDA’s mission.
Responsibilities
In‑process personnel supporting SDA
Process incoming and outgoing visit access requests
Perform security indoctrinations
Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs
Provide clearance verification for account requests
Prepare documents and packages for mailing
Maintain/update personnel records in multiple systems
Provide support to internal security functions to include PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security
Perform preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required (or 4 years of related experience)
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
5 years related experience required
Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co‑workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations
