At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, every team member plays a crucial role in achieving our mission. We seek a detail‑oriented, knowledgeable Sr. Benefits Analyst to oversee the administration and compliance of our retirement programs, specifically our 403(b) plans and 457(f) nonqualified retirement plans.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of 403(b) and 457(f) retirement plans, including recordkeeping, contributions, distributions, and reporting.
Coordinate enrollment, participant communications, and educational initiatives.
Process plan transactions such as deferrals, rollovers, withdrawals, and distributions.
Ensure compliance with IRS regulations, ERISA (where applicable), and state/federal laws.
Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, providing guidance on eligibility, contributions, vesting, and distribution options.
Prepare and maintain plan documents, amendments, and summary plan descriptions (SPDs).
Support annual reviews, audits, and plan evaluations.
Collaborate with TPAs, recordkeepers, and investment providers to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor vendor performance and address service‑related issues.
Minimum Education and/or Training
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field required.
Minimum Experience
Four years of professional level experience in Human Resources, with at least two years experience with benefits and/or HR information systems preferably at St. Jude.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
CBP, CEBS, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Compensation The current salary range for this role is $70,720 – $126,880 per year. Compensation decisions depend on factors such as skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
