Job Description As a Senior Building Engineer, you will ensure regulatory compliance and occupant comfort through extensive building operations experience, intermediate trade knowledge, and excellent customer service.
You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining all facilities of a 5‑story office building, preserving common‑area equipment and ensuring compliance with City, County, State, OSHA and other regulations.
The weekly schedule will rotate between 7 am–3:30 pm and 8 am–4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with an alternating 24/7 on‑call expectation.
Pay range: $28.00–$35.00 per hour plus an on‑call allowance.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in building operations and maintenance.
Intermediate knowledge of involved trades including electrical, plumbing, fire systems, elevators, and mechanical systems with relevant certifications or qualifications.
Knowledge of HVAC heating and cooling systems, fire pump control and safety systems.
Ability to read and interpret building design drawings.
Good computer skills and excellent customer service.
Required to have a personal vehicle and a valid Colorado driving license.
Able to lift 50 lbs and climb and work on a ladder.
Additional Information
Managing engineering and maintenance of the facility, including common areas, office space, amenity spaces, and parking garage.
Carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance inspections.
Addressing maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for all occupants.
Coordinating preventive and reactive maintenance with outside contractors when in‑house work is not possible.
Responding to tenant complaints in safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and environmental areas through personal contact and help‑desk ticket system.
Performing minor work such as painting, cosmetic repairs, light fixture installations, damper actuator and filter changes.
Performing other duties as assigned.
