Schwab Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate, dedicated and energetic Full‑Time Bilingual OP Speech Language Pathologist to join our highly trained and respected therapy team. We welcome both CFs and CCC‑SLP clinicians with prior Outpatient experience, either professional or through strong clinical affiliations.
Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital is a freestanding, not‑for‑profit, 102‑licensed bed facility located in Chicago and offers the continuum of care from acute care to inpatient rehab to outpatient therapy for adults and children. Schwab is a proud member of Sinai Chicago and the first fully licensed and accredited rehabilitation hospital in the Midwest.
The speech and language pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic and therapeutic intervention for speech, language, voice, swallowing and fluency disorders and functions as an integral member of the rehabilitation team. The SLP provides age and developmentally appropriate evaluation and treatment to the English and Spanish speaking, Pediatric and adult patients.
We have a large team consisting of PT, OT and SLP therapists including several bilingual therapists and board certified specialists. Our rehabilitation team takes a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to address the individual needs of each patient.
Minimum Education:
Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) Bilingual – English & Spanish language proficient Required Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:
Active State of Illinois SLP license or a Temporary SLP License issued by IDFPR Active BLS certification Benefits:
