Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a
Senior Marketing Coordinator
to develop high‑quality marketing and proposal materials that effectively support business development efforts and enhance Populous’ brand presence.
Our preferred candidate will have prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working in a dynamic global design environment with a diverse range of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, and transportation facilities.
What Your Day Could Consist Of
Writing, designing, and preparing materials for successful proposals, qualifications, and interview decks.
Drafting, editing, and organizing various market collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, and interview content to ensure it is comprehensive, competitive, and client‑specific.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously within project deadlines.
Collaborating with market leaders to identify leads and maintaining positive client relationships through meetings, events, and conferences.
Supporting communications, PR, content marketing and brand strategy through coordination, writing, and event planning.
Researching global and industry‑wide trends, competitors, target clientele, potential markets, and political and economic environments.
Requirements For Success
Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical writing, and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing.
Positive attitude, resourceful nature, and excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign experience required; additional Creative Suite experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with CRM software is preferred.
Detail‑oriented, learns quickly and adapts to new responsibilities.
Highly self‑motivated and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
Proven organizational and project management skills.
Essential Qualifications Required
An accredited bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications field.
Preferred
Prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working with a diverse range of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, community buildings, and transportation facilities.

Travel may be required.
