We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Space-Based Interceptor Expert to support advanced missile defense initiatives, including integration with the Golden Dome system. This role involves working at the cutting edge of space defense technologies, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of next-generation kinetic and directed-energy intercept systems. Lead the design and systems integration of space-based interceptor platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability with the Golden Dome and other layered defense systems. Conduct threat analysis, simulation modeling, and performance assessments. Provide technical leadership in the development of kill vehicle guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems. Support mission planning, orbital mechanics analysis, and engagement strategies. Interface with government stakeholders, defense contractors, and international partners. What You Will Need

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" federal or DoD security clearance. Upon onboarding, new hire must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET / SCI (TS / SCI)" security clearance. Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in a STEM field. Ten (10) or more years of experience in missile defense, aerospace systems, or space-based weapons platforms. What Would Be Nice To Have

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS / SCI federal or DoD clearance with a counterintelligence polygraph. Demonstrated experience in the development and testing of space-based impactor and directed energy capabilities, including mission design, systems engineering, guidance and control, and mission assurance. Background in guidance, navigation, and control; sensor integration; and lethality modeling. Experience with advanced defense platforms and integrated air and missile defense systems. Strong background in orbital mechanics, GNC, and space systems engineering. Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and classified program environments. Experience with real-time simulation environments and digital twin technologies. Prior work with the Missile Defense Agency and the United States Space Force. Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field. Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $135,000.00‒$225,000.00. What We Offer
