Finatal is partnering with a leading private equity firm with a long-standing focus on sports, media, and entertainment investments. The firm has a decades-long track record of partnering with founders and management teams to grow market‑leading businesses across content, digital infrastructure, and related services – including expanding initiatives in

sports, media, and entertainment .

This is a senior‑level opportunity for an experienced investor to join a highly established platform and take a leadership role in sourcing, executing, and managing control and structured minority investments. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping portfolio strategy and driving value creation across a range of sub‑sectors.

Responsibilities

Originate and lead investment opportunities across media, entertainment, sports, gaming, communications, and digital infrastructure

Manage all aspects of deal execution, including diligence, structuring, and negotiation

Partner with portfolio company executives to support strategic initiatives, M&A, and operational improvement

Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, executives, intermediaries, and advisors

Mentor junior professionals and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance team culture

Play an active role in portfolio management, value creation, and firmwide investment strategy

Requirements

8–12 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, or investment banking, ideally with sector experience in media, entertainment, sports, or communications

Proven track record of executing investments from sourcing through exit

Exceptional financial and analytical acumen with strong deal execution capabilities

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and entrepreneurs

Deep industry curiosity and network across media, entertainment, sports, gaming, and technology sectors

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
