About the Role We are seeking a polished and professional Commercial Property Concierge to join the team at a Class A office building in the Navy Yard district. As the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, you will be the face of the property management team; delivering a hospitality-driven, Ritz-Carlton-style service experience. This is a high-visibility, front-facing role ideal for a motivated, dependable self-starter looking to grow in commercial property management.
Responsibilities
Serve as the front-facing lobby presence, partnering with the 24/7 onsite security team to provide a welcoming and professional environment.
Manage the lobby desk: greeting tenants and guests, answering questions, assisting with directions, and coordinating building services.
Processing Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
Facilitating gym waivers
Supporting use of the building portal (work orders, requests, etc.)
Oversee and facilitate use of the building’s conference center (reservations, waivers, agreements routed for manager approval).
Coordinate with property management leadership (Property Manager, Administrator, and Director) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain strong communication with team members across two DC properties (via Teams, Slack, email, phone, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Strong customer service and hospitality mindset
Able to deliver a professional, warm, and polished tenant/visitor experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with tenants, guests, and colleagues at all levels.
Dependable, reliable, and proactive with the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Previous experience in concierge, hospitality, front desk, or property management support is preferred, but entry-level candidates with the right personality and professionalism will be considered.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn property portals and communication tools quickly.
Polished professional presence and business attire.
