Systems Administrator - Senior - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
Base pay range
$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Linux, Windows, UNIX, Red Hat, Security+, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), XACTA, Latte Art, Biscotti, STE/STN, Nessus
Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position. Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
At least fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Security+ Certification
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
In addition to systems-based operating systems, configure and manage virtual environments
Patch systems based on state-of-the-art security and functional parameters
Nice to Have
Strong RedHat Linux command line administration and trouble shooting skills
Strong Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 administration and trouble shooting skills
Experience with using Nessus Scanner and managing Nessus Agents
Ability to write POA&Ms
Know how to maintain a Secure the Enterprise (STE)/ Secure the Network (STN) score
Familiar with Latte Art, Biscotti, XACTA
