is seeking an experienced professional to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver training on EHS topics.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly.
Lead incident investigations and facilitate root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) to achieve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Conduct environmental testing – stormwater, drinking water, and air quality sampling.
Track and report utility usage, chemical inventories, and SDS documentation.
Support emergency response planning and spill prevention protocols.
Report on EHS performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate cross‑functional safety improvements and conduct daily safety walks.
Manage incident tracking and safety committee meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, or related field (preferred).
Five or more years of experience in EHS roles, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Demonstrated experience managing EMS programs and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 compliance.
Strong knowledge of regulatory testing and OSHA regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements
Approximately 50% of time spent on the production floor conducting safety walks and inspections.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds.
Work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
Climb stairs and ladders; employ PPE as required.
Compensation: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year. Location: Lavonia, GA.
